CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE #168 - MOTHER'S DAY CARDS

Good evening all,

I am so sorry my post did not come up today for my CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE card. This week San's Designs is our sponsor and I used her cute little bunny for a mother's day card for my mom. She always loved bunnies.  Alzheimer didn't take that part of her away, so i wanted to make her smile with this card.

Please join us in the chance of winning some really pretty images and showing us what you come up for on Mother's day.

CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE #167-LITTLE GIRLS

Hello to all,

This week at CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE BLOG it's all about little girls. Our own Bernie is hosting this week and I can't wait to see what she and the other girls are going to come up with.

Our sponsor is A DAY FOR DAISIES. Don't know about you, but I just fell in love with her designs from the get go. I used this oh so pretty FLOWERS IN MY GARDEN image for my creation. I made the image big to fit almost all the card. Isn't she cute. Love to see the back of her little neck and the hair flowing freely. One reason why I enjoy these images so much.
My sketch is from CARD PATTERNS. Loved how it fit perfectly for my image. :)

Tammy shared some of her most beautiful images with us. I did go shopping after and got myself a  few I had been eyeing for a while and some new ones too.

So join us this week and make it

ALL GIRLY

with us for a chance to win a 12$ Gift certificate to shop at A DAY FOR DAISIES.

Thanks again for dropping by everyone. It's always fun to see you.

HUGS, Peggy

CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE 166 - YELLOW & PINK

Hello everyone,

I am so happy again to be able to enjoy some time in the craftroom after my day at work. It was quite a busy day and I am glad to say that it's over! Now, for this week's challenge at CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE , Bernie is hosting and asking us to use yellow and some other color. She is also sharing cute goodies for a lucky winner. I thought of course to use pink because I am so into girly and little special baby girlies I have too. I am counting Corryn my special girl too.

So come and join us in the challenge and create some beautiful combination of yellow and which ever colour you prefer.

My sketch is from Tracy's EAT SLEEP STAMP blog. I just love her sketches they inspire me so.

For those of you who might wonder what my sentiment means in English.
"A flower for your heart."

Thank you so much fro stopping by, it's always good to see you!

FLOWER POWER - CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE #165

Hello all, I am so happy I could make it again this week for our crafty creations challenge...and on time! YAY!

This week Jaime is hosting and has a fun challenge for us all:

FLOWER POWER

I used different design papers all in soft blue. I even paper pieced my image, then added some sprinkles in the background.  I used Tracy's fun sketch from Eat Sleep Stamp. Love her sketches, hate that I don't have time to play like I would love too. My card is also entered in Twisted Tuesday's challenge because you need to use flowers there too.

So go ahead and join us and create any project with flowers. Could be your design paper, your own handmade flowers, die cut flowers, even painted ones if you are so bold!

So join us and have fun with a chance to win a fine prize from our sponsor  WHIFF OF JOY this week.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I love it when you do.

Crafty Creations Challenge #164- SPRING GREENS

Wow, have I been away for some time! I almost forgto how to post a card. I had vowed to make a card for this week's Crafty Creations since I am on the design team. But as some of you might know I am a working girl now. Ah, but for me (happily) it is from march to september. It is a good arrangement for me, at least for now. I love it too.
My main image is from A day for daisies.

Now on to my card. It is in the greens and the image screams spring doesn't it. I used the Easter Wishes freebie sentiment our sponsor Digital delights is sharing too.

Glad I could make it. Hope you can find some time to craft. I did today and it felt sooo good. I am going back to see my little baby Mymy now, she is just waking up from her nap now. Corryn is visiting too and we are having such a fun day, she has did some drawing too.

Thank you all for stopping by, it's always good to see you did.

CRAFTY CREATION CHALLENGE #158-FANCY FOLDS

Hello everyone, here is the card  I made for this week's challenge at Crafty Creations where Denna is hosting and this is what kind of challenge she has to suggest:

"We are getting fancy with our folds this week!  Now is the time to pull out one of those new techniques that you've been wanting to try!

There are all kinds of fancy folds- Z fold- Tri Fold- Easel Cards, side step cards, or gate fold cards!  Or try any flower fold technique to add to your creations! I'm sure you'll come up with lots of your own ideas  that will surprise and impress us too!!"

Myself, I did a simple enough fancy flap card. I just added the 4 X 4 on my 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" card. Added some sewing, sprinkles for my snow, fluff for the scarf , snowman charm plus this sparkly yarn I can't seem to use all of!
This week's sponsor is Robin's Fetish and I used this little boy with his sleigh image, a scene we see alot in our cold Canadian winters. If you want it, it's actually called IN THE COLD. ( you can click on the words and find it)

So join us and don't forget to add CCCW158 in your keywords when upoloading to SCS.

#157-CUDDLY TEDDY BEARS

Hello to all,

This week at Crafty Creations Challenge I am hosting a fun challenge and it's all about:

WARM & CUDDLY TEDDY BEARS
on your card or project.
Simple enough right, so go ahead and use your little Teddy's today for a chance to win fun images from our sponsor:

I am so happy to add our Sponsor' Stampfairy's addition to our gallery this week. They were so generous to share their beautiful projects with us. Thank you so much!

Jacki used Patches the Bear in a set of embossed frames and little button embellishment. They recall the pattern of patches on the image. Beautifuly done!
Martina has used this cute image called Barry Angel  in a most cuddly setting. Clouds of white and sky of blue. What a fine way of coloring him too.

...and here are mine.  My first card is made with Toby everyday angel. The second card's image is called Barry Balloons and he is saying Happy Birthday on his belly. I love his little face, couldn't you just cuddle him.

I also played with  The Craft room challenge blog as they were asking for Cute and Cuddly . The sketch is from Midnight madness sketch#135, they are monthly now and still very much fun to play with.

Don't forget:When you upload to Splitcoaststampers please use the keywords CCCW157.

We had a ball as usual and we shared coffee (3 for me!!! aye, yaye, yaye, but gee, they were superb) and how good it feels to be crafting with a dear friend. We tried to get together before and I guess life got in the way but seeing her gentle smile and hospitable ways made me feel like I was there yesterday. That is how Deena makes me feel. So good to see you my dear friend.xo

The deets are in Deena's description you can see it here, along with her beautiful version of it: Deena's card
