PINK & GOLD SNOWSTORM

Happy Monday to all! It is beautiful today, inside and out. First of all, I have Corryn over since Saturday which I am sooo happy and grateful for. We had some fine times, watching some youtube clips of Old Sesame street with John John and Henry. It made Corryn smile and laugh out loud with me. We also had a delicious lunch. I warmed up my chick pea soup and it disappeared in our tummies like it was going out of style! Now, she is watching a show she enjoys while I'm uploading. I am taking her back this afternoon, she will be attending a Christmas party so she is very excited about that.

Guess the colors of her cheeks and lips inspired me using pink today. I love it with gold too. I used Kim's (nutsymulh) sketch a previous FS on scs as inspiration for mine, except she had flowers and I made a snowstorm with my Inkadinkadoo Christmas stampset a gift from Helen (misshelenstamps) last year. I just love it. Also used the emboss resist technique, I love it and can't believe it was never featured as the TLC on SCS either. But Joan changed all that today, as she suggest we try it for those who never had. And...last but not least, I used a creme ribbon to make a neat bow for the CAS challenge on SCS also. My card is really 2 layers if you don't count the base...I know...but my bow was so pretty, I had to enter it.
