AMPLEE TUDE ICE CREAM

Hello again...it's me, I just had to come back with another card with the same sketch. I love this little Amplee Tude from Stamping Bella. I hadn't taken her out for a while and when the Crafty creations challenge was all about Ice cream and cakes today, I dug her out and inked her up and just had fun colouring her. Added a few little flowers here and there, little blue pearls in the middle, and that was it. Sort of a CAS ( Clean and simple) look. I finished the inside pretty good too. Oh maybe I should you that too.

WOODLAND ROSE BIRTHDAY

Wow, I never...well, I never thought I'd use this rose for a birthday. I was tallking about my old sets the other day with Judi and thought this rose looked sad, well because it reminded me of sympathy cards I suppose. But like I am an eternal ambivalent, I just had to turn this around and use it on a birthday card!

The sketch is beautiful, used Betty's colours, they are beautiful but I always have a hard time when there is no blue around...lol I kind of dig the results though. How come my cards look better in picture than in real life???

The image is one of Sophie Lafontaine, you can see the beautiful friendship /birthday card she made for me. Sophie is a pure artist and so kind friend. The gold ribbon is from Priscilla Styles, another sweetheart. Thank you so much ladies!

Had fun with the colours and colouring it up too. Have yourself a bright and shiny day!

CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE

Here is a card I made for Wags ' whiskers stamps challenge 27. Sharon was hosting and suggesting we used yellow. I also used the sketch challenge from SC, Roxie hosts this cool challenge and I always get a kick discovering new ways to present an image. She used an awesome red panel on her card, guess I was inspired. Also, it was time to SHINE day at Crafty Creations Challenge. So I used my little purple ribbon and yellow shiny button.

Well, that is a wrap! Bonsoir everybody, Peggyxo

FLOURISHES

Good evening again...I missed the Flourishes challenge in my first card today and then saw that it was Silke's turn to host and offered up the cutest sketch. I love her and her work. She is one talented lady.

Used my sweet peas from Flourishes and a few pearls and ribbon, along with my cb folder swiss dots and script.

I am going to bed now and bid you peace and of course a little nuttiness is always good.

Hugs, Peggy

OWLEEN'S BIRTHDAY WISHES

Here I am with my card for 3 challenges. Yep, I have used our CC combination from Betty. Love the colour scheme, especially the soft suede. Used Priscilla's sketch too. And made the teapot party and this week we have a card with a destination.Byrdella needs birds to plan a big birthday party for a sweet lady. So Owleen got all dressed up and even wore her yellow contact lenses to fly to California and greet her new friend.

Have yourself a fun evening you hear.

SOMEONE SPECIAL

Hello,

See, I told you I was busy today. I just loved trying challenges. I am not always perfect at them, but I am so proud (and Judi is to) of me for trying! Of course this is our TLC on SCS. Holly found a fun tutorial from Janine, she is just adorable in it too. I love her layed back and simple manner of explaining, and yes, trial and error is part of crafting. I used a scallop nestie for my window on the gatefold, but would suggest not using it, because it does get caught on my opening. Otherwise, it's kind of neat. Used the little ducky form the Popcorn bear set again! Ain't he sweet.

Well, that is a wrap up for me now! Have yourself a nuttier night! LOL

POPCORN THE BEAR

Hellowwwww,

Now tell me...isn't this the cutest little bear you ever saw! Well, he's mine, all mine. But I can share, I just love this little popcorn bear set from Crafter's companion. So I made a thank you card for a good friend of mine. Sunday, being yesterday, it was our Featured Stamper day, and Pam was named, so I chose this beautiful flower card to case. It was fun to discover her beautiful gallery. Always interesting to venture in new territory.

Have yourself a nutty evening now!

CAS CARDS

Hello there everyone in blogland,

Today I have been a busy body. It's a beautiful day today here in my little corner of the world., not too hot, not too cold. I had the cas bug today. Just love the fun challenge found here on SCS. We were to use Diane's card as a sketch inspiration. It was quite simple to make: Used the Flourishes Seaside life stamp set, coloured and added a few crystal fine sparkles from Martha Stewart.

I don't know who I will give this to as a birthday card, but it's always handy to have one close.

Have yourself a nutty day you hear!

BEDTIME PITTER PATTER OLIVER

Here is another card for the Queen for the day Linda (zgirlsgranny)!!! YAY again! I just love this sweet little snowman from Penny Black, I do have to find this one and make him mine someday...ahhh, another stamp in the stash. (smile) Used her sketch, and added a few buttons and brads from Sue, thank you sweetie. The papers are from making memories alphabetPitter patter Oliver and stripe pitter patter Oliver. They are both 2 sided dps. The image is of course from High hopes, love that bedtime bear. Also did the F4A challenge using a little bear this time and for this morning's cool IC from this so pretty etsy shop. Here is the inspiration I used. You might not believe this but I got this dp yesterday and when this ABC's crazy fun alphabet bowl appeared on my screen, I just had to give it a try.

THANKS FOR LOOKING AND ENJOY!

LINDA KEEP SMILING THIS IS YOUR DAY/WEEK!!!

QUEEN FOR THE DAY, IC, TSC, CCC

Hello people in blogland...I have missed you. I got carried away with creating and honouring our Queen for the day Linda and just plain forgot to upload here!!! What a time I'm having using your pretty cards as inpiration. I just love the image of the doggie and kitty that I of course joined it to this beautiful sunshine poppy parade, used the colours as inspiration from the Inspiration challenge. And this was for THE TWISTED SISTAH CHALLENGE for this week. Shirley suggested we make a 60's of 70's inspired card. Depending on how young or old you are. LOL If you want to join, just make a card and add the TSC0618 keywords on Splitcoasstampers and you're all set. We can all admire your card too.

Just saw that my card has stitching and though I made one already for the Crafty creations challenge

LINDA I LOVE YOUR GALLERY. I never visited it before now and I am discovering hidden treasures.

BUS 42000, THE PLAY

Here is the story of how BUS 42000 became a block buster hit movie and now Broadway play.
Now, seems the story started with a blog in Colorado Cindy had heard from Lorraine about a bus with the number 42000 while traveling in New-York. And since Cindy always gives 42000 to a number of things and her teapot followers followed her in it giving 42000 reasons, cupcakes, flamingos, etc...to their stories, they decided to make a teapot challenge of it and don't you know Mandigore Butler, the world reknowned director of hits such as "199 blue bikes". "3895 black jets" and the block buster hit for 35 weeks in a row "8746302393 pink cadillacs" heard of the Bus 42000 and made a movie out of it.

It's about what goes on in the backseat of BUS 42000. Now, I don't really know what goes on I am just citing what I have heard, but it promises to be funny because in the movie you get to find out from all of the teapotters their version of what really goes on. Lilian here, is going to attend the play and wants to share a ticket with someone. That's why she's been on the phone all morning calling friends to attend with her, seems no one is interested. Poor Lilian, she has'nt hung up the phone yet!

I have added to this card Priscilla's midnight madness sketch challenge and Betty's color challenge for this week.

Have yourself a beautiful and giggling day!

HELLO SWEET BIRD

Oooh this was an easy peasy one ladies. Got 3 challenges in here!!! Hello everyone, it has been an ordinary day, but then, I got to speak to a few fine friends of mine today, so that made it more fun. Thank you friends!
Now, for today on SCS, Holly challenged us to a one layer wonder...cool for the TLC

Also, the CAS this week was things that fly...used my little hero arts "sweet bird" stamp. One of my first order online a while back, still love it.

And last but not least, Judi and I, were talking this morning and she told me about Susan's (LateBlossom) masking challenge on her blog. When I sawJudi's card I just had to play! Thank you for the tip my friend.

Have yourself a magical day!

I had fun with them all. Happy day everyone...special hi to Deena, she is back and I'm so thrilled.

ON SHORE BOAT

Here is a card I did for our Twisted sister challenge. Tater challenged us to using a beach image without people, she wanted to "bring awareness of the horrible situation folks who live along the Gulf of Mexico coast and thought a good way to do so would be to make cards about the ocean". So I decided to use thisAlek Krylow's tutorial to draw my little boat. Thank you everybody for stopping by. And please take care of our mother planet...it's the only one we've got.

PLAYING IN THE BATH TUB

Here is a card for 2 challenges again...over at crafty creations challenges 71 they are all about "child play". Check it out, the girls have fine inspiration.

And used Mercy's sketch 77 which I thought would be fairly easy. But I did find a way in the end.

I really like the pure innocence image. Heather is a cool artist.

I finally got help with the counter. Judi helped me. Thank you so much. Send me your bill okay.

Have a nice evening everybody!

BOTANICAL THANK YOU

Hello to all the world...not that all the world will be seeing this but maybe some people from around the world.

Here is my first posting on my new blog. I don't know how half of the things work here, can't even get a counter on it. I really wanted that. Seems I will have to wait until my sweet friend gets back and settled before I shower her with "How do you this and thats". My card was made for the flourishes -timeless tuesday (70) and the-splitocaststampers- sketch challenge

I may need to adjust this message and add links so please bare with me while I learn.

If you would like to leave a comment, feel free. It will surely make me smile
