Here I am with my card for  SC326 and WT316 on Splitcoaststampers. Used these cool roses and thought of adding Crystal effects to them. Could this be becoming a pattern? I've been doing that alot. Guess Pat Smethers is to blame for this, and I love her for it. Tee, hee. She uses it on alot of her cards.

I am off to visit Deena today, so will be back to see if you have made it, if not, I'll be waiting for you patiently. "wink".

Hello everyone! Today I am hosting the Crafty Creations Challenge #112, a FIRST for me, and it's all about Bunnies. Could be any kind of bunnies. Spring bunnies, Easter Bunnies, Hoppity hopping bunnies too. I chose these Magenta Easter bunnies because I love their little silly faces! Please come join us,  there is BLOG CANDY for our winner.

I also used Karen's (KDunbrook) sketch as inspiration for mine and the "springy feel" of her card. She is our Queen for the Day  this week. I did want to honour her. Karen is a CAS specialist, and does awesome work and it's always fun to discover her talent every week in all the challenges she takes part in.

So glad you stopped by, it's always a  pleasure to read you. :)Peggy

Good evening! I made this card earlier today but had to wait for the Crystal effects to dry for posting.  The actual teapot set from Mothermark's teapot tuesday challenge inspired me.  We have a new addition to our extended family. Thought you would like to take a peek at "Marie Mychelle's" little face. Here she is.   The sentiment says:Happy Easter. Thank you for looking and enjoy!

Here is a card I made for a fellow stamper Ashley. Check out the Mothermarkteapot challenge to get the deets. Did the colour challenge  on SCS too. And last, but not least of course  the Midnight madness challenge.  Will be back with more, I am out the door again... have a good day everybody!

Hello to all of my friends in blogland!

This morning I come to you humbled by the experience of holding Pierre and I's first baby grand-daughter as we celebrated her first 24 hours on earth. Yes, when you look at this little love bundle, all darkish pink (her dad is black, well, yes, Haïtian, that's why I didn't say Africain, you can see her heritage in the little nose and gee, that hair. Her little mouth is just like her mom's. We were actually trying to brade it ( her hair that is)last night...just kidding again!

Guess, I am overjoyed with this little "gem" which her proud parents named Marie Mychelle that I have lost all my sens of decorum. Please excuse me while  I am babbling instead of talking since Sunday, march 27th at 8 pm. Of course, Pierre is a natural, I knew that already. So here is a picture I just had to share with you.

Just had to mention how the new mom and dad did a terrific job. The labour lasted under 8 hours. Two pushes is all it took!

Hello everyone, I am finally back, I have been cleaning up my scraproom. And I am not going to talk about it, but only the fact that I can breathe better now. Here is a card for Bridget, finally. She was Featured Stamper a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I am so late Bridget, you know I love you and your fantastic work. So I used this Pitter Patter Pink   card as inspiration for mine. I used the home page of the IC website today called Ruche as inspiration for the colours in my card.

Have a beautiful day everyone and thank you for stopping by to see me, it makes my day!

Hello everyone, here is a card I made for the Inspiration challenge hosted by Anne this week, my inspiration came from this Fossil - Vintage floral tin. andI used Queen Jill's Just chilling card for the sketch too. The image is clipart free digital image from the web.

P.S. The reason I called my basket less, is because I had put a flower on the ribbon and it was too much! LOL

Thank you all for looking and enjoy the day!

Congratulations to our new Queen Jill (quillister). WOW, you are THE flavour of the week, so relax and have fun. I know I did, I cased 2 of your cards today, but didn't get a chance to upload until now. I used this Flowers for Kim card, because of the triangle panel I had been dying to try again. Changed it up a bit, using a stylish young woman.

I just love coming across your smiling face Jill. I appreciate how sweet and kind your comments and encouragements are and plus your talent plus cardmaking! May your reign be all but peaceful, it's time to party!!! He, he, he!

On this one I used this fun Just because card and theme as my inspiration. Kept the sketch and the bright yellow! Added crystal effects on the boots, raincoat and rain, gives it a rainy look.
Come and join us at the Queen for the day challenge thread. Congratulations again Queen Jill! We love you! Also used distressing and rounded the upper edge of my card for the F4A challenge too!

This one is hard to translate, but the saying means, that bad times don't last forever, sort of like After the rain, there's a rainbow. So this would be good for anyone going through a rough time. Always good to have one on hand, one never knows.

Thank you for looking and enjoy the evening!

Hello everybody,

I just had to share some exciting news with you all. I have been asked by Deena to join their Design team on Crafty Creations Challenge Blog. I have been a regular on this one and really enjoy how it works with digital images especially. So other than the fact that the whole thing shocked me on friday when Deena asked me, I think I will be doing fine, as Claire had asked me as guest designer in february of last year. Really enjoyed that too.

I think it's quite an honor and will do my best to make you proud Deena.

Come join the fabulously talented ladies every wednesday for a new challenge, and I will be hosting real soon. You know what they say, the more, the MERRIER!

Now like that wasn't enough good news, I have been chosen by a so sweet blogger friend Lindsey for a Liebster blog award.
There are a couple of conditions for this award if you have been tagged and want to participate.
Create a post where you post the 'Love Blog' image. You should also blog the person's link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award. You can then choose three to five favourite blogs which you also link in your post, then each blogger will inform you that they have been tagged.
Please note: The aim of this action is that we bring unknown, good blogs to light, so it is probably best to choose great blogs that are just starting out or who don't have a lot of followers. Not a requirement... just a suggestion!

In turn, I have chosen these sweet blogger friends to share the award with:

Benzi aka Brenda at Benzi Stampz, I just love her sens of humour which equals her talent as a fine cardmaker and generous lady. I still remember the French rub-ons you sent me sweetie.

Allee aka Lynn at Confessions of a left-brained stamper, also has a style of her own and is a kind and talented cardmaker friend too.

Heather is the Princess Scrapper Stamper, and my did I ever discover a beautiful blog and friend in her also.

Love this image. Reminds me of how much I miss gardening during the winter season. But though we still have snow and it's a bit on the chilly side today, spring is in the air nonetheless.
