DEENA HAS A CHALLENGE AND A FREEBIE

Here I am on a crisp monday morning with great news to share. As a matter of fact it's fantastic news, Deena has put up a fun challenge for you on her blog and over at The Crafter's café. Deena thought and so do I, that it would be fun to build up our stash of cards or hand made gift box or even a bookmark or tag for Valentine's  day and what better way than offering a    freebie which you can use on your project and you must also use 3 hearts and a ribbon on your project!

I also used her young love image which you can find in her etsy shop. So come on and play. You have until february 14th, yep that is Valentine's day to enter.

DEENA & COFFEE

Good evening, I have a fun little cas card to share with you all tonight. As I spent the day with Deena (moonrise) today. We had a ball as usual and we shared coffee (3 for me!!! aye, yaye, yaye, but gee, they were superb) and how good it feels to be crafting with a dear friend. We tried to get together before and I guess life got in the way but seeing her gentle smile and hospitable ways made me feel like I was there yesterday. That is how Deena makes me feel. So good to see you my dear friend.xo

The deets are in Deena's description you can see it here, along with her beautiful version of it: Deena's card

Deena gave me this cool glitter pen and once at home I thought to add some glitter to my card. I love it.

Thank you for stopping by, :)Peggy

EAT SLEEP STAMP & BALLERINA INSPIRED

Here I am on this beautiful rainy Saturday morning with some time to craft before I leave for some grocery shopping. I just love the Inspiration challenge and love to play along. This week Anne has this fun website called Close to my art, I picked this cute Ballerina's colours as inspiration for my card. I used Tracy's Sketchy Thursday's challenge at East Sleep Stamp blog. She is thinking of quitting it, and I just love her sketches, so I was thinking maybe if you are interested in cool sketches you could stop by and play along it would mean alot to me and Tracy I am sure. My image is Angelina's balloons from Mo's digital pencil.  I added little stickles in her hair to make it look like the static from her hair. He, he, he!

This is Tracy's card I used as inspiration, sketch and all!

Thank you for looking and enjoy the day everybody. I wish everybody a very happy new year, love, health and alot of creativity.

LET'S HEAT IT UP - Crafty creations challenge #151

Hello and a happy new year to all! I am so glad to have come back rested and happy from the holidays. I did visit family and friends, but things were mostly quiet around here and I really needed it because gee, did it ever feel good.

Now back to our new year and first challenge at Crafty Creations Challenge. We should be getting colder weather anytime now as we often get in January, so we thought maybe we could HEAT things up a bit by using heat embossing on our cards or any project.

We have Patties Creations as our sponsor this week, with a fun prize for our winner too.  I used her so cute baby mine digital image for my card. My embossing is then sentiment, I used rangers gold ep. Also paper pieced the bonnet and little top and added a little white funflock to the "nappy" to make it look like a cotton diaper, and little baby shoe too.

My sketch is from CardPatterns, love it's simplicity.
