WHAT MAKES YOUR HEART SING

Thought it could not be... yes again another birthday for my baby boy. Oh I know he is turning into a man with every breath he takes. (long sad sigh:( But yet, I am so proud of him. And especially because he is going out in life and "stepping up to the plate". He did college for 1 year and a half but felt as if he was just pushing the day he would quit. So after alot of soul searching and thinking of the way he could tell us he did not want to pursue his studies, he did. And though, we did worry about him "making it" in life without at least a college degree, Pierre and I trusted him. The result is a much more responsable, more organized, more happier and most of all, more striving and more loving young man.And one never knows, he still may go back to school, meanwhile he'll keep doing what makes his heart sing. And that is all that really matters right.

I miss my little boy, oh I can't lie about that. But then I suppose that is why we become grammies when the nest is empty.

MOTHER'S DAY CARD PURSE

Thank you for looking and remember to be extra nice with your mom this week (preaching for my parish here), she loves you sooooooooooooooooooo much. Hugs to all!

*About the little kitchen mits: I love digis because you can make them as big or as small as you want to. Just a happy thought about that simple fact! :) Me, Happy Peggy!

#116 - WHITE SPACE WEDDING

Happy wednesday to all! Here we are with another creative and fun challenge at where else but Crafty Creations Challenge Blog. YAY! Jaime is hosting and wants us to leave WHITE SPACE* on our cards.Well, I did just that, even added white lace for a vintage look. I inked up one of my faves of them called the WEDDING CAKE. So get your white cardstock out and leave space for WHITE and don't forget, if you upload to SCS don't forget to add CCCW116 to your keywords, so we can see your work. This week we have WHIFF OF JOY STAMPS as our sponsor and they have beautiful gifts for the winner. So come on over and see what they have for your amusent, as we admire your beautiful card.

Just wanted to add, that I have seen a whole lot talent going in the Crafty Creations Challenge gallery, from last week, as we are looking for a new DT member and all you have to do is link the card you make for our challenges to the blog and add the DT letters to the card. Good luck to all.

* From Deena's blog ;) : (white space does not have to be white! It simply means to leave a larger open/clean space)

TULIPS FOR KAY

Here is a card I made for Kay. Cindy and the gals at Mothermark's teapot party are sending well wishes greatly needed.
My heart goes out to Kay, and so glad to be able to send my card to her. We need to keep close to our elders, it has been such a loss in our society in general. This also is today's Midnight madness sketch 100 (wow, already!!!) challenge.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the day, I am off to see my grandbaby...yeah, I know, lucky me! LOL

MAMA'S APRON & DOUBLE EASTER CHICKIES

I was dying to use this apron, so I paper pieced it along with my little cutie pies yesterday and vowed to make a card right away. What surprise I have when I realised I could have as many rolling pins* I wanted by printing and printing and printing...get the idea, this is digi!!! LOL *I'd used my only little charm one on this card. Is this what they mean by "you recieve so much by giving". Maybe...

Help for katie Clear Dollar Stamps

Used this week's sketch, had so much fun with it, along with Crafty Creations challenge and the Twisted sistah challenge; paper piecing.
Thanks for looking and enjoy the day, and if you feel like recieving...I mean giving you can always stop by Jak's blog anytime!
Had fun with yesterday's challenges, took me a while to upload though. The same, but different was the TLC and was so much fun because I had in mind to work with this sweet little PI ever since I got them from Heather Ellis's shop on etsy. I know you can see I love these precious images, and I am not alone!

Then I did the CAS challenge inspired by Maureen's beautiful card.

Gave cutting out my felt for clouds freehand a go and enjoyed the results!

So have a beautiful day everyone and thank you for stopping by today, it's always a pleasure to see you did!:)Peggyxo

Also improvised a simple sketch just for you Sue!

This is my second inspired card from Sue's gallery:Black, white happily ever after card as inspiration for mine.Sort of changed the sketch a bit, used the same theme and punch.Congrats to you Sue, love your gallery and funny images from Stampalicious! CRANBERRY FLOWER CHARM CITY

Good evening everyone. I finished this card earlier for our Queen for the Day Carroll Ann in honor of her day. She is one inspiring lady cardmaker friend. I just love her work. Simple and effective cardmaking, punch art too and yes, love is everywhere in her gallery of precious work. I used this oh so sweet Tiny Teacup card as inspiration for mine.

This Tall flowers cake from today's Inspiration challenge inspired the CRANBERRY FLOWER -fresh print" dp I used. Did some paper piecing for the Twisted sistah and Crafty Creations Challenge too.

I colored in this sweet Pure Innocence image the color of Corryn's skin because her cute little pigtails reminded me of what I used to do with her hair when I wasn't very good at braiding them. I learned through the years, but was never a master like her foster mom is!

Thank you for looking and thank God for foster moms, dads and families! Great choice for Queen again Trish!

Here is my card for the MFTWSC challenge. Today is #15 already. I just love this Pure Innocence image from Heather Ellis. Kept it simple, almost monochromatic, except for her boots, hearts and little added daisy. That is a heavy charm though. Can't put this one in the mailbox. LOL

Here is my card for the Sketch Challenge on SCS. It was simple enough also. Love the CAS feel to it too.
Now isn't this Pure Innocence THE cutest!

Here is another card for the Midnight madness sketch challenge for this week. I love the chocolate and pink combo. Fun sketch ladies. I love the simplicity of this one also.

Guess things were pretty simple this week...is that a good or bad thing! LOL
Thank you all for stopping by, I love it when you do.

MM'S EARLY BIRTHDAY CARD

Hello everyone, I saw the Cox & Cox website and had to join the Inspiration challenge right away this morning. This cute PJ Cuddly Toy Rabbit inspired the colors of the design paper I used. My card is also for the Twisted sistah challenge this week it's all about birthday and blue...I could have sworn there was pink involved, "non"*? Well, I just really missed all the girls and wanted to send a loving shout out to all the twisted sistahs!

I had been eyeing this little Dee Dee for a while everytime I would visit the Scrapstore. My decision fell when Marie Mychelle was born it will be 2 weeks tomorrow. Now I can make all kinds of little cards for her. She might get sick of them before I do. He, he, he, silly grammy, that's me!

A FUN TRIO OF CARDS

Hello everyone, here is a card I made for the Queen for the Day today. We have a fine cardmaker friend in Queen Harriet (hskelly).I love your CAS style and little smiling face on your avatar. I wish I could be as CAS as she is. I tried! Great choice Trish (TrishG). Doing a very good job my dear. I used this unique sympathy card. Very inspiring. I changed my them for a baby and used the F4A challenge embedded embossed technique. Thank you for hosting Wendy.

Translation: Mignon means cute in English!

Here is my card for the Wednesday Stamp club. Getting sketchy #14. I have to say that I am addicted to both images and the creative sketches they post every wednesday. Plus the ladies are so very talented and sweet. (check out the gallery here) Join us it's always fun and a chance for prizes to be won too!

And last, but not least, this is the cute little bunny card. I made for this week's Sketch challenge on SCS. I used this little bunny. He's from this french website I find so cool.
I used a whole lot of crystal effects on the egg. Looooove how it looks and used baker's twine for the first time. Little gift from Deena, of course it's blue (he,he, he,). But I have black and soon, I will have more...I just love that stuff. So as you are seeing alot of crystal effects on my cards, you will be seeing more baker's twine on my cards too.

Please everybody have a beautiful day...and remember in the words of  wisdom of young Nathaniel Parizek (age 4), "You know it's a good day if you didn't hit or bite anyone." Yep, from the mouth of babes. I love these quotes! I must say that I am very good at not hitting, but biting...I have to work on that one. Bwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaah!

SAILBOAT AND DAFFODIL

Here is a card I made for the Inspiration challenge this week. I used this cuteLighthouse & Sailboats rug as inspiration and a card I saw in Cookie's (StampGroover) gallery and been meaning to case. I used felt and cut out the sail with the spellbinder square die on the CB, the rest was free hand. The letter B (studio313 - Whale wishes) comes from The "help for katie" digis I got from donating.

Thank you for looking and enjoy the day. Cool website!

Here is one  I made for our Queen for the day Lois, used piercing as she did.  This is Lois's Red Hat card inspired by StampGroover ( Cookie)'s one too. The image I chose was inspired by this lovely both paintings from the IC The daffodiles and I used only one like the sunflower painting!

Have a gorgeous day everyone,!
