Good morning to all,  I am so excited today as we are expecting a visit from Baby Alice and mom and dad too. It's been a whole 2 weeks since we saw her last...(sigh). All my 3 kids will be here too. Max, Corryn and David. So it's going to be a filled day. So, I should go on and tell you the story of this pretty girl sipping coffee and wondering if someone is going to join her, maybe a friend is meeting her...If you want to get yourself one of these to play, just stop by Deena's Etsy shop and look for the  COFFEE GIRL.

I made this card inspired by Julie's (justwritedesigns) card, because she is our Queen for the Day at SCS. I love her work, I know I am not the only one. Every little detail of her cards is stunning to me. I also did the IC and used Boo Carrot Shop - girl paintings as inspiration because the girls in the paintings and my image have somewhat of an innocent expression to them and the fact that they are sitting and taken from the waist up.

Hope you enjoy your Sunday, mine promises to be filled with new memories! LOL
Hugsxo :)Peggy

Here are a few cards I made with the Midnight madness sketch. I always love their sketches, and I loved using it in a slightly varied way.  I also entered these in the Free for all on SCS today as Dawn suggested we post our most "dazzling cards", so I did.

The first card I made with an image from the web. I really can't remember where. Will have a look and let you know later.

I love Mo's digital Pencil, they are new from yesterday, I mean, I bought them yesterday. Just had a ball walking through her website that it did distract from actually making more cards! LOL The next three cards are made with her images.

This last card I  made with Tracy's easy peasy and so pretty sketch
over at Eat Sleep Stamp,
and  used an image of a boy and dog by Heather Ellis
He is up there with my faves of hers.

This is a long post, so thank you for dropping by and if you leave some love....well, I just love you right back, if you don't well...I love you anyways! LOL

Hugs from your friendly neighborhood nutty cardmaker, me, Peggy :)

Hello everyone! What a beautiful week-end we had. Outside gathering leaves, walks in the crisp mornings and sometimes cooler afternoons. We even went out for breakfast on Sunday morning Pierre and I. Dinner was fun over at my sis' too. We had some cool Chicken Tahini...yummy! But enough chit chat, we have a wonderful guest designer joining us this week; KATHY BRADLEY! Yes, ladies, and she has just a beautiful card for our challenge too. Visit her blog called ENTERING KATHYVILLE to see what she has created for our  SQUIGGLEFLY challenge.

I just love using the dotted circle and thank you sentiment by artist Jess Holland at Squigglefly. The dp is build a blossom from Jake Heath and I added a black matting to make it kind of formal looking! So don't forget to join this week using freebies and a chance to win fun images too.

Have a beautiful monday!  :)Peggyxo

Hello all! Today I am showing you a few cards. My first one is made for the HYCCT1116- To simply use a ribbon on our card.  I have been experiencing real joy creating each card, and I put alot of thought and love in them. I sometimes stop and think how cancer patients will have a moment of delight when recieving one and that is all the fuel I need to get to the next one. I have done 6 now and as I said before, I am doubling  the number of cards I am sending out this year, so I have 6 left. YAY! I really can't wait to send them all out! So if you want to join us by donating a few or maybe just one card, believe me it will make a difference, imagine if twenty thousand of us would donate only one...food for thought and action.

Enjoy your day and keep well!
I used Snow bunny  Bella for this card and the COME AND GET IT CHALLENGE's sketch.

I used Hero Arts silhouette women for this birthday card, and used  the same sketch because I really love it!

Hello to all! I have yet made another card for the HYCCT challenges. I did Lee's challenge; You're my inspiration. I used the colors as inspiration and added a few more which inspired me.
I waited long enough to buy this cute and inspired Hope fights d
igital stamp from Whimsie doodles. Boy and I glad I indulged myself a bit and for a good cause too. All the money is donated to cancer research and...I love her!

Also used the
Midnight Madness sketch challenge for this one!

I added a few close-ups because I used Amy's photographing tips you can find here: Photographing your papercrafts projects.

The little bandana is an extra and I paper pieced it to add a little dimension.

I usually don't show close-ups, but I was so proud of how the pants came out so crisp and clean. No, I didn't wash them, I just didn't colour them in.
(Guess you figured that out, but I had to be silly.)

That's 5 done and 7 to go! I am sending them all to the MD Anderson Cancer Center when I'm done.

Well, I am glad you could stop by today! Always fun to see what you have to say.
Hugs from me, Peggy, your favorite nutty cardmaker.

Here is card I made for the HYCCT108-Hang in there. Technically, I have THE ribbon hanging from the branch right. And had to use Deena's HOPE BRANCH when I saw this Gillian Fullard' Flora and Fauna'sskin from the IC. Check out Deena's blog. She is giving out a free digital image when you purchase the HOPE BRANCH image I used.

I used Tracy's Sketchy Thursday's sketch, I just love them. It comes from BLD's blog hop...

Thank you for looking and enjoy the day. I will be spending some of the day reading.

This is another Deena image, it's called PREGNANT GIRL. Isn't she lovely, she inspired me to use the same colors for this baby card.

Hello to all, here is my project for our Crafty Creations Challenge this week.
As you all know we have a new grand-baby girl named Alice, so I thought I could make a door hanger for her when she is napping, which is alot being a newborn and all, but then, Pierre came up with the fun phrase about Alice being in wonderland. Thought the "pun" was so funny, I used it. Amy is hosting and look below for the rules.
Translation: Shhhh...Alice is in wonderland!

Create a crafty Decoration!
It doesn't have to be Christmas, it could be for any occasion
including Halloween of course.
How about bunting, candles, door hangers,
pictures, crackers, storage boxes,
something to hold your latest crafty purchase.......
the list is endless!

We are thrilled to have Nikky at Polka Doodles
sponsoring this week challenge.

The lucky winner will recieve
the very fabulous
full of fabulous images, papers
and sentiments to create great Christmas/Winter projects
worth £15.99.

Hope you have fun with your craftin today, it's all it's meant to be! :)Peggy
