Hello everyone, I just had to play today. All the challenges just fit into this card. First I did Priscilla styles sketch. Then I did Joan's clever TLC and lst but not least, I did the CAS too.

Thought I would make this one a Valentine card. Found this lady on the Web, but again, didn't keep the info!!! Sorry. I added a few notes and a flower.

Thank you for looking and enjoy the day!

Good evening everybody, I am hosting my last Queen for the Day this week, so here I am with a case from this week's Queen Heather(Isaiah40:31), she has such a very beautiful gallery filled with made with love cards!

Here is the baby card I used as inspiration for mine. Mine is a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2, used circle punch and giant scallop dies, sewed on it because it is also for Patricia's (kokirose) new grandbabies. The teapot ladies was all about it this week. I am NOT late, just because we never are at the teaparty!

Queen Heather, may you have fun this week while we are caseing your amazing cards. I know you are always ready to give a shout out to the "girls" here and we want to thank you for sharing your inspiring work with us all, as your kind encouragements on our creations.

Thank you all for looking and enjoy the evening!

Here is another card for the Queen for the Day this week. She is none other than Pam(pam124). I love this beautiful flower card, and in blue, I had to case it. Here is Palm Beach HoneyBarbie from the Barbie website for the inspiration challenge today, used her for the colors.

Seems our Queen has taken this honor a bit too far. I didn't realise Pam had this big ego, but since she has started impersonating Faith Hill, she has no limit. Really Pam, cut me some slack here. Either you send back all your punches or have them bill you instead of poor innocent Anne. LOL THIS CARD JUST HAD TO BE MADE, Pam is such a witty lady, and I did use a punch scallop and corner punch. HA!

Thank you for looking and enjoy the evening!

Hello everyone, I am still hosting the QFTD challenge on SCS and this week, the wheel stopped on one of our Punchkateer's , so yes it is Pam (pam124). Congrats dear Queen. Here is Pam's darlling birdie card I used as inspiration for mine.

Please join us in honouring thy new Queen. As for our going out Queen Judi, we love you. Here is a little song from James Taylor I thought would set a more meaningful "ambiance" for all our Queens, including the ones to be....

I also entered this card into the Crafty Creations challenge this week, which suggested using birdies, green and polkadot, look carefully on the upper left side of the card and the bottom right for it. (smile). Cool challenge ladies.

Hugs all!

HIWM; used penny black's bird on a wire, Spellbinders oval beads die, little studio g sentiment (gift from sweet Aja), little flowers bought at the $ store, dp from Cosmo cricket, (fleuriste) these. punch by MS think it's called lace.

I played with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club today. It's new and fun. Anyone can enter. Also played this week's Mothermark Teapot party challenge, and I will be sending this card out to this destination station.

Thank you for stopping by, it's always a pleasure to see you.

Here is a card I made for the Midnight madness challenge this week. I love this image from Seaside sketches SU set , it reminded me of Pierre and I...awwww. I might even keep this one for him to offer on Valentine's day...but shhhhhh don't tell him okay.

Here is another card I cased for our Queen for the Day. Yes, I know, I had to do an Edward card because of Judi's love of "Twilight". I never read the books, neither seen the movie, but I wanted to share this with her, and her Edward card was soooo cute. Also this is for the Greeting Farm challenge which is to use black, turquoise and another color, I chose red. If you want to play, it's here at splendidstamping

Of course the color red is in this page of the IC inspiration.

Thank you all for looking and enjoy the evening!

Sealed with a KISS

Hello everyone, I had this card in mind since last night. I woke up and saw the fun little felt lips Ahilim had sent me a couple of years ago and thought: "This would look great on a Valentine CAS card". So it did. You can not get CAS-ier. Is there such a word, well in blogland and cardmaking I decided there is. LOL I sure love all the white space around it too, hum, the possibilities! This also fit the Inspiration challenge on SCS with this nail design. 0382

Thank you all for looking and enjoy the day!

This is the cherry bowl card, which I wasn't the only one to case, take a look a this cutsie one from Irishgreensue is soo cute too. I used Webters pages and the giant scallop too. I just love our Queen'S gallery! The image of the cherry bowl can be purchased through a donation to Jak Heath's fundraiser for Katie, by clicking on the badge on the upper right of my homepage.
Sadly, I needed a sympathy card for a neighbor who just passed away. His wife was pleased with the Lasagna I had send over by Pierre. Her husband's name was Pierre also, I don't really know them, but we did bring bagck their grand-daugther's wandering kitty cat last summer, and said hello on my daily walks. I used one of Judi's card and added this little border with his name later on, thought it made it more personal to his wife. You can see the original on SCS! Pierre told me he never would have thought of doing that, but I remembered how generous our neighbors were when I lost mydad 30 years ago. The "loved" and "warm" feeling of knowing our neighbors cared still stays with me, so I just say it's pay it forward. Paying is not always with money, time, love and tenderness is PRICELESS.

Lastly, I would like to say, yes, I did choose this Queen because of my love for her, but then, what are friends for if not to make you happy surprises, cheer you on in times of need, to laugh about silly things like John-John counting videos. So here is to you sweet Judi, I enjoyed every minute of caseing your cards, don't think I will stop soon. LOL Hugs to all!
Here is another card cased for our Queen for the challeng. This is from our Queen's gallery. She had a truckload filled with flowers, and the country nature look I just love. Also you can see the beginnings of awesome talent just by looking at the way she colored in the truck, wow! This is also for the Twisted sistah's challenge this week, which called for purple, yellow and a punch, guess I'm good with that one, if a tad late...if you want to play, just make a card with all these requirements and add tsc0114 in your keywords, we love it when you do!

Another challenge is of course the F4A challenge and textures, and last but gee, not the least, is the Crafty Creations Challenge, which called for NEW BEGINNINGS this week, anything from a baby, marriage, job, so I turned to a car, a Volks that is, to Congratulate my David! He got himself his first car, and all on his own. The only criteria I had for it, was it had to be blue, so the color here is for the purpose of the challenge, because it is BLUE!!! LOL

Pierre and I are so proud of him, he's been doing so well, the only thing is, he's growing up way too fast for mamma. The first time he left, I had him call me when he got to his destination, but he made it very clear that this was not going to be "habitual". Gee, and here I thought a mom was a mom 24/7, we are going to have to discuss how this works seriously. LOL

Well, this is about all for now, I had to talk about it, the guys here, think I'm nuts to worry. (sigh....)The image of the car I got on the web.
Thank you for looking and if you read me, as usual I love you more! he he he

Here is a card I made for our Queen for the Day/week, she is none other than a very sweet sweet and close friend of mine, Judi (jovialjudi). Join me in congratulating her by caseing her cards and celebrating her with sending a card for her birthday. You can find us in the Splicoast challenges now!!! WHOOOHOO! I did not case a card per say because among alot of things we share, Judi and I share our love of Vince as in Vincent D'Onofrio, so I thought I would make a special card with him and the colors of law & order CI. You can have Vince all to yourself this week Judi, you are the Queen! LOL

Thank you all for looking and enjoy!

Hello again, I thought of using one of several images I got as a gift for making a donation for Katie's fundraising. There are so many companies that have contributed generously in giving images. You can see Katie's badge up there on my front page. If you can, do something, if you can't maybe send a card and/or pray for her and loved ones. Any little thing helps I believe.

I used SCS sketch for this week, which fit this "WE LOVE YOU MOM" image perfectly. Thank you to all that come by, and say hi, I really love it when you do.

Hello everyone, here is my cards for the MFTWSC challenge this week, I just love the sketch again. Guess I am more of a gal that needs structure in her Not that it always goes that way right. But I am finding that PI's are so fun to play with. I have been knowned to entertain different love affairs with STAMPS, one day it's the Greeting Farm, then it's Ketto's from Stamping Bella, then it's Penny Black, House Mouse and the list goes on and on. The important thing is to have fun with it and I am having fun with it. Wait 'till you see my next "love interest", some of you may fall on your face. STAY TUNED....he he he!

Here is a card I made for Card Patterns's sketch 97 this week.
The colors for this week are all in there and
Also used a SU rub-on, the look is subtle but I like it.
I used this little PI again today. She inspires me soooo...

Thank you all for looking and have a beautiful evening!

Hello everybody, this morning I have a card for Katie, I couldn't sleep last night so I checked out the MotherMark's teapot challenge and read her story. It is heart wrenching but somehow filled with faith, hope and love, and while reading it I felt a direct connection to her heart and wanted so much to join in...I want to say battle, but I believe it's more than that, it's what "her life is now" (in her own words) and throughout the reading I felt her reaching out to us but not with pity, with love I rarely witness, must be that "selfless" one I hear about and have a hard time expressing. After reading her story, you'll be moved and maybe want to send her a card. PLEASE DO!

My card is also for the Colour challenge and Priscilla's midnight madness sketch!

Have a bright and happy day everyone, and breathe ...

Here is a card I made for MFT's new challenge called Getting sketchy. I just love this pure innocence image, and had some kind friend send it to me and played with it before. I won a gift certificate and got a chance to buy it along with a few a la mode beauties too. Painted with stickles with the tlcon SCS this week too.

Thank you for looking and enjoy the evening

Here is my card for the new QUEEN FOR THE DAY( I'm hosting for the whole month of JANUARY)and she is none other than Pat (foxy67). I just love Pat's funny and happy cards. She is one of my favorite Teapot partiers, and a generous lady. I chose this beautiful Christmas card from last year to case. Pat had sent it to me, of course in blue! So I decided to make a Valentine and send it to her!
Changes: image, added a heart cb folder, sewing, heart, ribbon, key, rose, twine, giant scallop and small ms punch. I typed the sentiment.

Congratulations Pat, this is an honour you deserve dearly! YAYAYAYAY! So dear Pat, take a bow and have fun, today and all week we will be going through your gallery and finding treasures to case in your honour!

This is a card I made for my hairdresser and for the Crafty creations challenge. They are having a special blog hop for the 100th challenge and special prizes, so we had a sketch, color and adding a recycled something, so I used the ship image I had on another card.

Thank you for looking and enjoy the day!

Hello everybody! I made this little Winnie the Pooh Card for Jamie, Pat's daughter in law, who is expecting a baby boy anyday now. Everybody at the teapot party and of course Pat's family are all awaiting this little tot anxiously. As Bob Barker would say: "Come on down Jon, you're the first baby in the Smethers family." LOL Congrats to the proud parents and Grammy and Pappy Smethers.

Got to use Joan's fun painting with stickles technique. Cool and sooo easy. Makes a dazzling diffeence on a card! Thank you Joan.
I also used this wednesday's sketch on SCS. I love to have a "picture" in mind when cardmaking. In case some of you would want to know I found my Winnie image on this fun website. Have yourself a beautiful day!

Soooooooooooooo glad to be back!
Here is a card I made for the CC this week. My ribbon (the dessert) is made of paper though, but sparkling one! Also used this week's Midnight madness sketch, Priscilla has such a beautiful variety of them along with awesome inspiration from the ladies on her design team. I have been waiting impatiently to come back and play! The holidays have been quite busy. We are now settling down back to quiet and creative days.
