Honoring our Queen of Queens Anne...a bit late but I really wanted to do this because Anne is one of the first stampers to welcome me to SCS. It is quite intimidating to me to show my cards in the beginning. She was so very kind and encouraged me to make the challenges for more visibility and you get to meet new stamperfriends. She even was responsible for my now 2 plus year friendship with my dear Deena (moonrise), so for her listening ear and caring heart, for all that she is to alot of us. Here's to you sweet lady!!! Here is a card made for cousin Tom, my sister Betty wanted to send out also. I had to use these Easter cards from our Queen for the day Darla Ryan as inspiration. I missed a few Queens, but making up for lost time now. I was so excited to hear about Darla being crowned our Queen for the day , so fitting because she is such the sweetest person. Very reserved and so giving when it comes to sending love, though her schedule is filled with her little boy, she does make time to comment and appreciate fellow stampers. So the honor is all for you sweetie, enjoy the day!!!
Here are another 2 card set that inspired those little cutie pies. Had so much fun with those. Even got to add the number "2" in there as Anne had suggested! Also the colors in these cute jammies from the Inspiration challenge helped me pick out my colors from this website called Garnet Hill. Cool huh! The papers are from Martha Stewart, images from two kind ladies, one is Christina (little couple) and the other one is from Linda, of course you recognise Magnolias!
Hello everyone, I have been missing in action for a little while as I have had minor surgery and am feeling quite better now. Though, in the last week I have learned of a dear cousin who passed away quite suddenly. I created this card reminiscing about him. He was a good caring man, one that provided for his loved ones and that extending to our family six kids and even my three kids too. He always rode in a pick-up truck and I am pretty sure that one time or another we all rode with him. I know I had many rides, and each an everyone one of us, be it my brother, sister or one of my kids, I can tell you that we sat proud and just felt so lucky to be around him, he wass that kind of person you just loved. And that is why I thought of using this beautiful image from SU and sent to me by M (Stampmuse on scs). I know he will be greatly missed by alot of people of all ages. So long dear Tom, my world is a better place to have had you in mine, I love you, we all do and I will remember you.
